During the holidays in Prättigau, two stations should not be missed: the Salginatobel Bridge, the only Swiss world monument and the longest toboggan run in Switzerland. The winding 12-km descent is a one hour adventure day and night 1100 meters down into the valley. Other attractive destinations, such as Lake Partnun or the Prättigau ridgeway can be discovered in summer. And festivals such as the Prättigau Alpine spectacle in Küblis and Seewis combine living traditions with exciting encounters..
A few meters away from the Old Baths Pfäfers is the entrance to the mystical thermal water spring gorge. The last section of the 450-metre long safe path, leads over a tunnel into the interior of the rock, pasts the small thermal water fountain to the spring water grotto. The rock faces in the gorge tower up to 80 metres high along the way. Finally, in the spring water grotto, you can experience how about 8000 litres of water per minute gushes out of the rock from Europe's richest acratotherm. Researchers suspect that the water seeps away in the Tödi or Sardona area. It is heated until it reaches the surface again after more than 10 years at a constant temperature of 36.5°C in the Tamina gorge.
At the gorge entrance you need a suitable coin (1, 2 or 5 coin, entrance CHF 5.00 per person). In the Old Bath Pfäfers there is a coin changer. The Old Baths Pfäfers and the entrance of the Tamina gorge can be reached by foot, with the bus or the Rösslipost.
