There's no time anywhere these days. Also to prepare a fresh lunch and dinner. The desire for a healthy diet has brought about a new trend in our society: Meal Prep. What is important in today's precooking:
Cooking once, enjoying a whole week
The principle of Meal Prep is very simple: Precook in one day for the whole week. That is, instead of eating fast food, you cook several meals and fill them into preserving jars and put them in the fridge or freezer. For the rest of the week, the meals at work or at home only need to be warmed up. This has many advantages: The food is cheaper and when you are hungry there is always something fresh and healthy.
That goes in the pot
First we need a menu plan. Many foods are very suitable for Meal Prep. These include travel, lentils, beans, potatoes, quinoa, vegetables and meat such as chicken breast or beef. Ingredients that can no longer be eaten faster, such as fish, should be planned for the beginning of the week.
Hygienic and durable packaging
The be-all and end-all for Meal Prep is correct cooling and suitable containers for meals. There are various plastic or glass cans that can be sealed airtight. Especially practical are containers suitable for microwave ovens. The right utensils for cooking and storing can be found in the Landquart Fashion Outlet, for example in Amefa (Shop 3) or at WMF (Shop 61).
